[130707] 2NE1′s 1st stage for Falling in Love will happen at Mnet Mcountdown on 11 July

2NE1‘s song, ‘Falling in Love‘ will be released before their performance due to the sudden cancellation of the live broadcast of SBS ‘Inkigayo’.
2NE1 was expected to perform their comeback stage this afternoon at Inkigayo before the release of the song but due to the Asiana Airlines accident that occurred at the San Francisco International airport, the schedule for the Inkigayo broadcast had to be changed.
Both the audio and music video for 2NE1′s new reggae song, Falling in Love, will be released on the midnight of 7 July on major music streaming sites simultaneously.

The audience that attended the recording for Inkigayo today were also able to see Dynamic Duo, Apink, My Name and various other artists.

While 2NE1 was expected to show their comeback stage on the live broadcast of Inkigayo, it is still undecided if today’s episode of Inkigayo will be aired at a later date.

‘Falling in Love’ is a song that will be released a whole year after the release of 2NE1′s trot song ‘I Love You’. Not only will it showcase 2NE1′s new looks, they also invited foreign choreographers to prepare a new level of performance for the song. 2NE1 will also be doing more promotions on music shows for this song and is expected to appear on stages often to meet with music fans.

2NE1 will be making their first comeback stage on the coming 11th on Mnet ‘Mcountdown’ (streaming link).

On the 7th, YG Entertainment said “2NE1 will show the first stage for Falling in Love at Mcountdown on the 11th”.

After the release of ‘I Love You’ last July, which is of the electronic genre with trot elements, there is much expectation on what unconventional stage 2NE1 will show for ‘Falling in Love’, which they are challenging the reggae genre with.

Through the image teasers that 2NE1 has released teasers through the YG Blog, 2NE1 has shown an outstanding fresh summer look and even looked like Egyptian goddesses in the other teasers. These teasers have elevated curiosity (about the comeback).

The song and music video of Falling in Love is expected to be release on the midnight of the 8th prior to 2NE1′s comeback stage.
