Wow..~~ CL countdown starts~~*^^* The picture is so prettyㅠㅠ Looking forward to it so muchㅠㅠ~~*^___^* Samsung Everland and YG Entertainment signed a partnership agreement to build a YG exclusive theater inside Everland Theme Park. The theater will be dedicated to showing virtual 3D hologram concerts of K-pop singers.
The latest hologram technology will be able to bring reality like experience for the audience, and the first singer to be featured at the theater is Psy with his Gangnam Style and Gentleman performance. A teaser performance was shown during Seoul International 3D Fair between May 21-24.
Psy already finished recording the video needed to create the virtual concert, and it is expected to be more entertaining than real concerts in some ways. For instance, Psy will create five avatars of himself in some part of the performance, and other famous celebrities will be make a virtual appearance.
The size of the stage is estimated at 27 feet wide by 12 feet deep, but it’s not know if the characters in the virtual show will be close enough to the actual size of the people. The hologram does not require 3D glass which is another big plus.
According to YG, ”By September, we plan to add Big Bang and 2NE1‘s performances.“ ”Starting with these, our plan is to expand to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and furthermore, Europe and Americas,” announced the spokesperson for YG, detailing that there will be over 20 locations by 2015.
