[130706] Girlgroup Fever Continues, ”Brown Eyed Girls’ To Go Head to Head w/ 2NE1 This July”

Talented girlgroups 2NE1 and Brown Eyed Girls are set to make comebacks soon hyping the music industry completely.
These past months, many singers made comebacks and a fierce competition was going on and this time one of Korea’s leading girlgroup 2NE1 announced their comeback along withBrown Eyed Girls, and both groups are well anticipated by fans.

While 2NE1 is set to release a single 8th July, Brown Eyed Girls are set for 9th July, a day after 2NE1. Both groups are well known and talented as well as their music sale is incredibly strong so far so this head to head battle is anticipated by many.

In July last, 2NE1 (CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park & Minji) released their hit song ‘’I Love You’’and this year 2NE1 is set to release ‘’Falling In Love’’ after exactly a year. Throughout the second half of the year, 2NE1 is set to release a song every month until October, that’s where their mini-album or full album gets released or so that’s what YG Entertainment has planned so far.

The song ‘’Falling In Love’’ is a fresh new song 2NE1 will be introducing to the public, as it’s a ‘’reggae’’ genre, something new for 2NE1. Last year they mixed ‘’trot’’ in their song ‘’I Love You’’ which was fresh to the public as well so many anticipate this fresh new style 2NE1 is introducing.

Last year Brown Eyed Girls (JeA, Miryo, Ga-In & Narsha) released their digital single ‘’A Midsummer Night’s Dream’’ which was loved by the public and now finally after a year Brown Eyed Girls are coming back as a group. The song is set for a 9th July release, but so far no info on the song or concept has been released.

Both groups are armed with excellent singing abilities and introduce us to great strong performances. Also in both groups the members went solo with different musical styles, but in the end coming back as a group is completely different then solo. While Brown Eyed Girlsmight go for ballad, 2NE1 is going all out with ‘’reggae’’, the hype is strong as they’re going head to head this summer.

2NE1’s leader CL just recently introduced her solo and continued activities for a month with‘’The Baddest Female’’ which had mixed reactions but it was something fresh introduced by the leader while Brown Eyed Girls member Ga-In introduced us to solo songs such as‘’Irreversible’’ & ‘’Bloom’’ and member Miryo with ‘’Dirty’’ and lastly JeA with “While You’re Sleeping” which made BEG known more widely, solo artists as well as a group.

In May, girlgroup 4Minute dominated the charts with ‘’What’s Your Name’’ followed by SISTARwith ‘’Give It To Me’’ and this time it’s time for the ‘’powerhouse’’ groups to dominate the charts aka 2NE1 & Brown Eyed Girls who are going head on head this July, hyping up the whole music industry.
