Mysteriously quiet for the bulk of 2012, YG Entertainment’s 2NE1 are one of a thimbleful of Korean groups to have performed in the U.S. The group hopes to reclaim home territory in 2013, with a comeback on the way and a solo album for its multilingual, bona fide superstar leader, CL.

The other four acts are, Rania, EXO, IU, and A-Pink.

Willamette Week describes itself as “The definitive source for news, politics, music, movies, restaurants and events in Portland.” Willamette Week is Portland, Oregon’s, award-winning alternative media outlet. We appear in print (every Wednesday) and online (wweek.com), with a mobile app on the way. We also publish Finder, a magazine-sized guide to Portland that’s distributed free of charge each June. WW is the only weekly newspaper ever to win the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting (2005).
