[130714] 2NE1 Concludes their Comeback Week on SBS Inkigayo by “Falling in Love” & Being “The Baddest Females”

2NE1 wraps up their first week of promotions for “Falling in Love” with a remix performance at SBS Inkigayo.

After a week delay due to the cancelling of the live broadcast last week, the girls had a dual stage comeback on MCountdown and a festive return to MBC‘s Music Core before finally making their official comeback on SBS Inkigayo – concluding their 1st week of promotions.

As this week was also Inkigayo’s ‘First Half of the Year Special‘, many artists performed remixes of their songs and 2NE1 was no different. The girls’ first stage was a remix which combined CL’s debut solo single “The Baddest Female” with the summer-hit “Falling in Love.”

Unlike their stages on MCountdown & Music Core, this stage was relatively simple, utilizing the LED screens to help convey the atmosphere versus props. And at the opening was just CL, performing the first part of her solo. At the point where she asks “Where mah bad girls at?“, the rest of 2NE1 came on stage and they went into “Falling in Love.”

The performance had a slight air of elegance as the girls were decked in white, with Bom & Dara rocking the gorgeous white dresses from their MV. Similar to the previous stages, they were very playful on stage, with Minzy giving winks & all of them smiling throughout the stage. When the song transitioned back to the ending of “The Baddest Female,” the girls really let loose an did what they do best on stage – play. Bom & Minzy‘s handgame solidified the fun atmosphere, while Dara & CL were jumping all around.

And with that remix, the girls’ first week of promotions for “Falling in Love” was concluded. More activities are on the docket, as 2NE1 will be on a radio show later today and guesting on Running Man later in July and Blackjacks are sure to see more of them on next week’s music programs.

“This time around, you will be able to see us smile in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere on stage.”
